Germany Declines Putin's Offer To Send Natural Gas To Europe Via Through One Undamaged Nord Stream 2 Pipeline And Through Turkey

 

BBC: Gas taps can be still turned on to EU, says Vladimir Putin 

President Vladimir Putin has said the gas taps can be still turned on for Russian supplies to the EU, despite sharp political disagreements. 

Russia has not delivered gas to Europe via the Nord Stream 1 line since August, and Nord Stream 2 was halted after Russia invaded Ukraine. 

The February invasion led to gas price hikes, and EU customers face record tariffs this winter. But Germany quickly rejected Mr Putin's offer to send gas via Nord Stream 2.

Russia could deliver gas via Nord Stream 1, but not Nord Stream 2 - Germany (Reuters). I will admit that this German position makes no sense to me. 

Putin is also "hinting" on who he believes was responsible for attacking the Nord Stream pipelines .... Putin hints at culprits behind Nord Stream sabotage (RT).

US-built first Saudi MMSC frigate HMS Saud launched at Fincantieri’s shipyard

According to information published by the Saudi Ministry of Defense on December 18, 2025, the first Multi-Mission Surface Combatant frigate constructed in the United States for the Royal Saudi Navy has been officially launched at Fincantieri Marinette Marine’s shipyard in Marinette, Wisconsin.
