Following last week's attacks by Ukrainian naval drones on the Yuriy Ivanov class intelligence ship, Ivan Khurs, the Russian navy has bolstered defenses near the Sevastopol naval base in Crimea. 3 Ukraine's USVs strike Russia Navy's intelligence ship Ivan Khurs

 According to a tweet published by Ukraine Weapons Tracker on May 25, 2023, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have successfully thwarted a Ukrainian attempt to attack the intelligence ship Ivan Khurs using three unmanned surface vehicles (USVs). Russia Unleashes ‘Massive’ Drone attack On Kyiv

  Reuters: Russia Unleashes Largest Drone Attack on Ukrainian Capital Ahead of Kyiv Day   KYIV (Reuters) - Russia unleashed waves of air strikes on Kyiv overnight in what officials said appeared to be the largest drone attack on the city since the start of the war, as the Ukrainian capital prepared to celebrate the anniversary of its founding on Sunday.  Ukraine's Air Force said it downed 52 out of the 54 Russia-launched drones, calling it a record attack with the Iranian-made 'kamikaze' drones. It was not immediately clear how many of the drones were shot over Kyiv.  In what also appears to be the first deadly attack on Kyiv in May and the 14th assault this month, falling debris killed a 41-year-old man, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.  The pre-dawn attacks came on the last Sunday of May when the capital celebrates Kyiv Day, the anniversary of its official founding 1,541 years ago. German army orders another 57 Rheinmetall HX81 heavy tractor units worth over €50 million

Rheinmetall has received an order from the Bundeswehr (German army) to supply a further 57 heavy tractor units in the 70-tonne payload class. Known as the “SaZgM 70t mil” in German military parlance, the unprotected heavy-duty trucks are scheduled for delivery in 2023 and 2024. ZPU (meaning "anti-aircraft machine gun mount") is a family of anti-aircraft guns based on the Soviet 14.5×114mm KPV heavy machine gun. It entered service with the Soviet Union in 1949 and is used by over 50 countries worldwide. Quadruple (ZPU-4), double- (ZPU-2 and ZU-2) and single-barreled (ZPU-1) versions of the weapon exist.
