* President Joe Biden told vaccinated Americans they can enjoy Christmas safely and insisted we are not going back to March 2020

* He also toned down his attacks on the unvaccinated

President Joe Biden told vaccinated Americans they can enjoy Christmas safely, insisted we are not going back to March 2020 and toned down his attacks on the unvaccinated as he announced his plan to tackle the surge of Omicron over the winter.

His battle plan includes sending 1,000 troops to overwhelmed hospitals sending 500 million tests to American homes amid a nationwide shortage and with lines forming at testing centers.

Coughing into his hand at points, Biden unveiled his winter COVID strategy that focuses on testing, boosters and vaccines and does not include any lockdowns or harsher travel restrictions.

His media supporters are skeptical .... Joe Biden's new omicron variant plan is a lot like the old plans (MSNBC).

As for the rest of address and press conference. Sighhhh .... he is not in touch with the mood of the country.

Update: I was also pleasantly surprised .... Trump 'very appreciative' and 'surprised' Biden acknowledged his administration's COVID vaccine success (FOX News).
