US Navy deploys containerized Tomahawk missile launcher to Norway for Atlantic City 26

On August 27, 2026, the U.S. Navy deployed a four-cell Containerized Launching System to Trondheim, Norway, aboard a U.S. Air Force C-17A Globemaster III as part of Operation Atlantic City 26. The deployment serves to validate strategic inter-theater air mobility, expeditionary advanced base operations, and distributed strike integration in the High North alongside British and Norwegian forces.
