According to information shared on May 9, 2025, by Paweł Bejda, Secretary of State at the Polish Ministry of National Defense, Poland has received an additional delivery of 19 M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams main battle tanks (MBTs) from the United States. These tanks will soon be integrated into the Polish Army's operational formations, further strengthening the country’s armored capabilities. This delivery is part of a broader $4.75 billion Foreign Military Sales (FMS) agreement signed in April 2022, under which Poland will receive a total of 250 M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams tanks. The deal also includes 26 M88A2 HERCULES armored recovery vehicles, 17 M1110 Joint Assault Bridges, and comprehensive packages for logistics, spare parts, and training.
