Netherlands Enhances Tactical Intelligence and Reconnaissance with New Puma 3 AE Drones from AeroVironment
American company AeroVironment has signed a new contract on May 13 2025, with the Dutch Ministry of Defence to modernize the Netherlands’ fleet of Puma unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The initiative aims to equip the Dutch armed forces with optimized tools to conduct critical operations in increasingly contested electromagnetic environments, particularly GPS-denied scenarios.
