AM General to deliver first JLTV A2 armored vehicles for US Army testing to validate 250 functional upgrades

As reported by National Defense, the first Joint Light Tactical Vehicle A2 (JLTV A2) produced by AM General will be delivered for testing this week, the company confirmed on April 29, 2025, at the Modern Day Marine conference in Washington, D.C. Slovakia sends Wolf 25 AD armored vehicle to Ukraine to strengthen anti-drone warfare and direct fire missions

As reported by Praise the Steph on April 29, 2025, the Slovak company DefTech will supply Ukraine with its Wolf armored vehicle in the Wolf 25 AD configuration. This version is equipped for counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) operations and direct fire support. The information was confirmed by Milan Mackovich, Head of International Business Development at DefTech a.s. The vehicle’s configuration includes a 25mm turret and radar systems for 360° coverage. Portugal to operate first A29N Super Tucano light attack aircraft in Europe by the end of 2025

As reported by Janes on April 28, 2025, Portugal is scheduled to receive its first A-29N Super Tucano aircraft by the end of 2025, following the December 16, 2024, contract signed with Embraer for twelve aircraft valued at approximately €200 million. This acquisition makes Portugal the launch customer for the NATO-standard variant of the Super Tucano, which is intended to fulfill missions including advanced pilot training, close air support (CAS), intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), and Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) operations. Spanish company Navantia progresses steadily on Morocco’s new Avante 1800 offshore patrol vessel despite earlier diplomatic tensions
