UK sees first ever flights of Transwing UAS

On July 19, 2024, Overwatch Group and PteroDynamics announced the successful completion of the first UK flights of the Transwing unmanned aerial systems (UAS). This milestone follows the recent formation of a strategic partnership between the two companies, aimed at advancing unmanned aerial technology. Overwatch Group, a UK-based company specializing in advanced unmanned systems and munitions technologies, and PteroDynamics, known for their vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft systems, will present the Transwing UAS to government and industry stakeholders at their UK site on July 22nd and 23rd.
