Ukraine Drone Attacks Forces Moscow To Close Its Four Major Airports

Business Insider: Airport chaos continues in Russia as Ukrainian drones target Moscow for the second time this week 

* All four Russian airports halted operations Monday after Ukrainian drones were shot down overhead. 

* Ukrainian drones have been causing disruption in the airport district in recent weeks. 

* On Friday, airports in the region were also closed due to another drone found in Russian airspace. 

Ukrainian drones on Monday caused havoc at Moscow airports for the second time in a week, grounding flights and delaying operations for hours while Russia's missile defense system took effect. 

On Monday, the Russian state media agency, Tass reported midmorning flights were delayed at the Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky airports in addition to more than 50 flights that had been diverted earlier in the day. 

Tass reported the Russian Defense Ministry said two drone attacks were repelled in the region — one fell in the Ruza District after being suppressed by electronic warfare equipment; the other was shot down over the Istra District.

Four Eastern European Countries Expel Russian Diplomats

Copyright RAIGO PAJULA / AFP, FILE   RFE: Bulgaria Expels 10 Russian Diplomats, Baltics Follow Suit With Another 10 Expulsions   Bulgaria is expelling 10 Russian diplomats saying they were carrying out activities deemed incompatible with their diplomatic status, a move followed up quickly by the Baltic nations of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.  The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on March 18 that it had given the 10 diplomats 72 hours to leave. The statement did not give a more detailed reason for the expulsions, but since Russia launched its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, the Russian ambassador in Sofia has repeatedly made contradictory statements about Bulgaria's position on the conflict.
