On September 17, 2024, Lebanon was shaken by a wave of nearly simultaneous explosions affecting hundreds of Hezbollah members, the Iran-linked Shiite militia. These explosions originated from pagers, which the organization used to avoid electronic surveillance and cyberattacks.
