Myanmar Navy has commissioned seven new warships and one submarine

On December 24, 2020, Myanmar Navy celebrated its 73rd Anniversary at Yangon's No 3 Naval Wharf in Thilawa. During this event, seven new warships have joined the Navy including the Stealth Fast Attack Craft (492), Submarine Chasers Yan Nyein Aung-class 443/446, and the new submarine Minye Theinkhathu that was manufactured in Russia and transferred from India. According to information published by the Pakistani MoD on April 26, 2024, the Hangor class submarine PNS Hangor was launched by the Chinese shipyard CSSC.
