British Army Household Cavalry took delivery of first ARES Ajax tracked armored APC

According to a picture released on the Twitter account of Household Cavalry on September 25, 2020, the Household Cavalry regiment of the British took delivery of the first Ares, the APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) variant in the AJAX tracked armored family to replace the old Scimitar CVRT, light tracked reconnaissance armored vehicle.  Read full Defense News at this link ...

US And Russian Chiefs Of Staff Discuss Ukraine In Rare Phone Call

Mark Milley spoke with his Russian counterpart on Thursday, the first such conversation between the two since the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine began in late February, according to the Pentagon.  Milley spoke by phone with Valery Gerasimov, chief of the Russian general staff, and they “discussed several security-related issues of concern and agreed to keep the lines of communication open,” Joint Staff spokesperson Col. New Belgian detachment of NATO Forward Land Forces now operational in Romania

After a first departure last week, it was the turn of most of the Belgian detachment to settle in Romania as part of the "Forward Land Forces" (FLF) mission.
